NYSHIP 60 Minute Medical Massage

Feel Well Spa is an out-of-network provider. Clients looking to book a massage under NYSHIP insurance must meet their out-of-network deductible to be eligible.

​​​NYSHIP covers 20 one-hour massages per calendar year once your out-of-network deductible is met. 

​​​​Call us to see if your deductible has been met or to schedule your first massage toward your deductible!

How to Become Eligible

  • For a 60-minute massage to count toward your deductible or be covered under NYSHIP you must have a prescription before the appointment. 

    You can get a prescription from your Primary Care Physician, Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, or our nurse practitioner.

    Scripts must have a start date, a frequency, and a diagnostic code.

  • We are an out-of-network provider. You must meet your out-of-network deductible to be eligible for coverage under NYSHIP. 

    If you have not met your out-of-network deductible, call us with your insurance information so we can schedule your first visit with the nurse!

  • Call us to confirm your coverage, schedule a time to meet with the nurse, or book a massage.

    If it's your first time using NYSHIP for medical massages, please bring your insurance ID card and license to your first appointment.​​​

    We will have some paperwork for clients coming under NYSHIP to fill out, so please plan to arrive early for your first massage or consultation with the NP.

Interventional Pain Management & Prescriptions

Community Medical Wellness has Nurse practitioners and Physician Assistants who see patients in our office. They will assess and prescribe pain management as needed for each individual patient. Their service includes examination and evaluation. They offer trigger point injections, which may help to improve circulation, break up muscle adhesions and spasms, increase flexibility, and decrease pain.

  • A nurse practitioner is available for appointments at:

    ​Feel Well in Wantagh, NY Mondays and Thursdays from 9 am to 6 pm 

    Feel Wellness in Hicksville, NY Fridays from 2 pm to 7 pm​

    Initial consultations are 30 minutes

    All follow-ups after that are 15 minutes

  • Trigger point Sarapin and Lidocaine Injections.

    Injections are used as an alternative to steroids or cortisone injections in treating chronic pain. It is a natural solution extracted from Sarraceniaceae, a family of pitcher plants. 

    For the injections to be successful in easing pain, they are usually performed several times over 4-12 weeks, depending on the severity of the pain.

    Many major medical insurance companies are accepted. No-fault, Medicare, and NYSHIP are accepted.

  • NYSHIP clients must have a valid prescription before their appointment.

    You can get a prescription from your Primary Care Physician, Chiropractor, Physical Therapist, or our nurse practitioner.​

    Prescriptions from the nurse must be renewed every 6 weeks and can only be scheduled by phone.

    ​Outside scripts must have a start date, a frequency, and a diagnostic code. NYSHIP only accepts prescriptions valid for up to 3 months.
